When another family pulled up with four boys, I heard the dad say, "This is our only option!" We felt the same way and left first thing the next morning. There was no one in authority to enforce the rules of the campground. Add all that to the barking dogs and screaming kids. and then another camper started playing Hip Hop. a charcuterie tray, fried cheese curds, Brussels sprouts, and a potato dish. That didn't happened!!! One guy was blaring Country Western music until 11:00 P.M. It was supposed to be quiet time from 9:00 P.M. The worst thing about the campsite is that there was no one in charge. WAY too hot! The sites are also close together, so you can hear your neighbors easily. There were a few spots around the perimeter that allowed for some shade, but most were in the glaring sun. The Bad- This is basically a field that has been mowed to allow for camping. The water was pump water, but tasted good. Each site had a picnic table and fire pit. We spent two hours looking for a place to pitch our tent and finally someone told us of this campsite. We had no idea that almost all the State and National Campgrounds take reservations.
